How much does a web cost to design?
Your website quote will be based on $500 for a one page website and roughly $75 each additional page or menu section. This gives you an indication of prices only. Please contact me with your site details and I will provide a quote.
What are the costs of maintaining a website?
There are two ongoing costs involved with keeping your website online. The first is your yearly Domain Name Registration from around $40 NZ a year for .co.nz domains. The second is your Web Hosting Account which is where your pages are stored and also where your email accounts are setup. I can host my clients website's for $120 yearly.
What is the procedure for paying for my site?
I require a 50% deposit and the hosting amount paid before beginning the design of website's. This ensures that you definitely are proceeding with your design. The final 50% of design costs must be paid before your site is uploaded live to the internet.
What are the costs of updating my site in the future?
I allow for my clients to make small minor updates to text, contact details etc. Major updates and additions will be charged at an hourly rate of $80 with a minimum of 1/2 an hour charged. Your changes and updates will be made within 24-72 hours of your request or after you have provided me with the information.
How long will it take to complete my website?
We can begin designing your website right away if you provide us with the text, photos and other content that you would like displayed on your site. Your website could be completed within several days to several weeks, depending on the complexity of your site and the how quickly you can provide all of your content.
How do I get started with my website?
You first need Contact me, and we can then discuss the basics of your site and give you a quote. You will then need to send through any content you currently have and any ideas to being the designing of your site. I will then send you a first draft, you can then tell me any changes or additions that you would like to see.
